Accessible by boat from Valença (or air taxi from Salvador), on the island is a car free place. You can go around to discover the paradise beaches, full of palm plantations and native Atlantic rain forest. At the fishing villages of Boca da Barra and Morere, a smattering of rustic restaurants serving freshly caught seafood could be a nice dinner option.

Salvador's Deputado Luis Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA) is the main Bahia airport. Flights from all over the country arrive here as well as flights from the rest of South America, Europe and the U.S.From the airport of Salvador small planes departs to the island of Boipeba. The journey takes 30 minutes and according to the movement there are three schedules. Salvador-Boipeba: 8:30, 12:30 and 15:30 and Boipeba-Salvador: 9:15, 13:15 and 16:15. Bus / Taxi At the São Joaquim ferry terminal in Salvador, take a ferry-boat crossing the Baía de Todos os Santos until you get to Bom Despacho on Itaparica Island. The crossing takes one hour and a ticket costs around five reais. In Bom Despacho you can take a bus (2 hour trip and a ticket costs about 15 reais) or a taxi (1 hour away and cost about 180 reais) to Valença. Another option is to take a boat at the Terminal Marítimo, near from the Mercado Modelo to Mar Grande on the Itaparica Island. The crossing is faster (about 30 minutes) and the range is only half an hour. A ticket costs around five reais. In Mar Grande can take a van to Nazaré and then a bus to Valença or charter a taxi that takes an hour and cost about 180 reais. Car Motorists have two options: either travel through the BR 101 or crossing the Baía de Todos os Santos with the Ferry-boat to Bom Despacho. The routine is Valença. At the pier in Valença you take one of the boats to Boipeba. Another option is to follow the trip to Torrinha, a small place, which is closer to the Boipeba Island. Leaving from Bom Despacho, you will pass the town of Nazaré, Valença, Taperoá, and Nilo Peçanha. Just after Nilo Peçanha there is a left turn off to Cairu, and after 12 km on that road, there is another right turn off to a 7-km dirt road to Torrinha. You can park your car in enclosed, covered, safe parking areas. From Torrinha, speedboats take you to Boipeba. Catamaran / boat Boipeba can be reached from Salvador by catamaran to Morro and next day to Boipeba by boat. The catamaran is leaving from the Terminal Marítimo, near from the Mercado Modelo at 9:00 AM and 14:00 PM. Next day, boats are leaving Morro to Boipeba at 9:30 AM. |

Day by day
DAY 1 – Arrival and reception at the airport of Salvador. Transfer to the chosen hotel.
DAY 2- After breakfast city tour visiting historical landmarks and the main touristic spots of the city including the African heritage neighborhood of Pelourinho with colors, flavors and sounds unique in the world. .In the evening, on a prearranged time transfer will pick up you at the hotel to the Brazilian Rhythm´s Night Show with dinner. (Beverages not included).
DAY 3 – After breakfast, on a prearranged time transfer to the port to catch a ferryboat to Camamu (2 hours) and follow from there in a fast boat reaching Boipeba( 20 min by fast boat). Arrival and transfer to the chosen hotel.
DAY 4- After breakfast enjoy yourself around the island. The island of Boipeba has a coast protected by coral reefs. The tranquil sea invites to swim, dive and make boat trips. Boipeba has several sand beaches with coconut plantations that allow you to enjoy the beauties of the island in the shadow of Palm trees.
DAY 5- After breakfast free DAY to enjoy the attractions of the region. The Boca da Barra Beach is near to the village of Velha Boipeba and begins at the river Rio do Inferno, which separates the islands of Tinharé and Boipeba.Tassimirim Beach is the first beach facing the Atlantic Ocean. At low tide form little pools, where you can dive in shallow water.
DAY 6- After breakfast free DAY to enjoy the attractions of the region. Coeira Beach is a bay with an extensive coconut. The beach is ideal for bathing, swimming or doing some water sports. Moreré Beach expanses to the village of Moreré. It is a beach with reefs that emerge at low tide and form large pools of warm water.
Bainema Beach is the longest beach of the island with clear sand and crystalline water.
DAY 7- After breakfast. On a prearranged time transfer to the airport for boarding on returning, flight home. End of our services.
