CBR014 MANAUS & ECO PARK LODGE THE CITY AND THE JUNGLE EXPERIENCE | 7 DAYS - 6 NIGHTSCreated in 1991, this privately owned property, opened its jungle lodge doors to guests in 1995.
A convenient location cose do Manaus (approximately 1 h) on Tarumã river, a tributary of the Negro river. The lodge operates its own transfer (shuttle van or bus to a river pier and regional boat to the lodge). The lodge has 70 bungalows in 22 stand-alone structures (being rebuilt in brick), each with 3, 4 or 6 apartments. A striking feature of the Amazon Ecopark is the distribution of these structures under the rainforest tree canopy. Each apartment has its own entrance from outside, balcony, screened windows, bathroom with electric shower, air-conditioner and mini bar. One of the brick structures has 4 apartments and the same features as the others. Two with wheelchair ramps for easy access and bathrooms with safety grab bars for physically challenged guests. The other 2 have two additional twin beds and are ideal for families.Another structure has 6 larger apartments. All units are comfortable and decorated with Amazonian handicrafts.

Light cotton clothes, pants, shorts, hat, sun block lotion, raincoat, personal medicine, swimming suit and tennis shoes or hiking boots. Day by day DAY 1 – Arrival and reception at the airport of Manaus. Transfer to the chosen hotel.
DAY 2 - City tour through Manaus visiting historical landmarks and the main touristic spots of the city. DAY 3 – Afternoon transfer with departure at 13:00 h. Transfer by van or bus from Manaus airport or hotel to Ceasa market port and from there by boat/van/speedboat to the Lodge. Dinner upon arrival. Approximate departure at 08:00pm in a guided motorized canoe, in search of alligators, called "caimans". Once the light of the flashlight paralyzes them, their eyes go red, enabling the guide to easily locate them. The guide will then try to catch one with his bare hands (depending on size) bringing it aboard the canoe for observation. The caiman is safely returned to the water afterwards. . Overnight. DAY 4 - Breakfast. Approximate departure at 08:30 a.m. on a guided motorized canoe to visit the river area inlets and flooded forest. . Buffet lunch. Approximate departure at 15:00 hrs. on a guided motorized canoe to try to catch local fishes, such as tucunaré, tambaqui and piranha. Once this experience starts, our guide will show you how to prepare and roast your catch out in the rainforest. Buffet dinner. Overnight. DAY 5- Breakfast. Approximate departure at 09:00 a.m. on a guided motorized canoe to an appropriate area to enter the jungle. The guide will lead you on a trek through the rainforest, explaining about the local flora and fauna. Buffet lunch. Afternoon Visit to native caboclo dwelling. Approximated departure at 15:00 hrs. In a guided motorized canoe to learn about the customs and way of life of these native inhabitants, descendants of the Indians. Buffet dinner. Overnight. DAY 6- Arrival and reception in Manaus and transfer to the chosen hotel. Overnight. DAY 7 - On a prearranged time transfer to the airport for boarding on returning, flight home. End of our services. |
